About Us
The Northwoods Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, was formed based upon the personal philanthropy of Gary Heinze, owner of Northwoods Consulting Partners. Gary has a long history of giving back to his community and through Northwoods, he was able to help many in need. As the company began to grow, he realized that a more formal means of giving was necessary and the Northwoods Foundation was created.
What We Do:
The Northwoods Foundation works with local partners that help the community and also provides financial assistance to people in need in the communities in which Northwoods and its employees work and live. Foundation funding is intended to provide specific and direct assistance to help those that are actively seeking to improve their own lives or the lives of others.

Volunteering is part of who we are at Northwoods. It's engrained in our culture so you will find us out in the community working with our partners to make this world a better place.
